Last year, I had a theme and had planned out posts in a spreadsheet, but by mid-month I was so exhausted from following my ambitious plans that I gave up.
This year, I think I'm just going to wing it. I plan to post every day, but I have no idea what the content of each post will be at this point. And I don't have a theme to tie it all together.

Anyone else doing the same?

Yep. I am not anywhere near organized enough to pull off a theme. I basically just ramble about food for a month.

I haven't decided if I am in yet or not, but should I go for it, that's pretty much how I flow. I just take it day by day. I don't plan anything ahead of time.

This will be my first time participating and I'm totally winging it!

I always just wing it! I wish I was organized enough to do a theme but I just don't see it happening this year either.

No theme for me -- just coming up with 20 posts in one month will be enough of a challenge for me!

I went the other way... I winged it the first 3 years and then had a theme last year. The theme seemed to make my life easier so I'm trying it again this year!

I was going to go with a potato theme but I think I am just going to wing it. Time wise I don't have enough time to cook every day. Me committing to blogging every day will be commitment enough I think!

I'm going to wing it! I am planning out a few ideas to get through the first week, but that's it - and no theme.

Wingin' again!

Definitely winging it... I had a theme last year, and I got way too stressed out by it. I have a vague theme of cooking on a budget, since I'm trying to do that at the moment anyway, so if I blog about what I'm eating, it's going to have been cheap to make anyway. I may or may not cost each meal, but if I do it's gonna be a rough guesstimation, because I really can't be bothered to work out exactly how much a teaspoon of thyme (or whatever) cost me.

Even when I had a theme last year, I wung it. 'Tis the only way I know.

This my first MoFo and still not sure I know what the heck to do. Anyway, my theme is cookbook recipe reviews. As in, I make a stack of recipes from vegan cookbooks and talk about how they turned out and stuff. Is that acceptable or does the theme have to be a little more specific?

I have a theme. but I don't really feel like sticking to it. There are so many things i want to make that don't fit that theme. I'll prob end up winging it

That seems pretty specific to me.

I am winging it, but it will be also my first time keeping a blog steadily, though for some reason for the last two years I wanted to participate in mofo but didn't get around to setting up a blog and such. So therefore, maybe it would be wise to have a theme, but there are lots of things that I am excited about talking about which do not line up with a common undercurrent since they are compiled from ideas I have had and put away for later plus things I am thinking about now, if that makes sense. Excited anyway though.

I'm already planning to creatively bend my theme, instead of just veganizing Newfie cuisine I'll be like "hey this has turnips, potatoes and carrots in it, totes something Newfies would like." or "hey weren't the nights mom splurged on a taco kit from the corner store the highlight of your entire childhood?"

I had some plans, but October is going to be busy, so I'll probably wing it, too. Or stick to a loose theme like a pantry challenge.

Oh yeah, it's my first Vegan MOFO, and I'm completely winging it. I have plenty of unrelated ideas scrawled on a piece of paper...we'll see what happens.

I'm completely freaked. Not prepared, haven't made any lists, and very little money. Oh, and trying to lose weight on top of it all.

Oh I am totally winging it! This is my first year doing it and I am just now going vegan, although I do it time to time so I am going to be all over the place, hopefully people wont hate my craziness!
