I made 3 dozen of these on Friday night for an LGBTQ club retreat and another dozen as a present for a friend. They were yum.

they're so pretty!! they came out much brighter than the rainbow cupcakes i made for the kid's bday last year. what kind of dye do u use?

I used the wilton's food coloring, appifanie! It's always so bright. Zoey wrote: They are so pretty! How do you do that? I divided the batter into 6 small bowls, dyed each a different color, and then layered spoonfuls of batter into cupcake liners. pretty easy, just a lot of dishes.

aha! i only have one wilton color and it's pink - i guess i'll move past mccormack for my other colors too - so far i only use the pink with frosting.
