I really really liked the colour. Mostly for the vegan reds and how it was all eye, lip and cheek safe so you could blend matching colours with the vegan balm.

Although I imagine some of the gel types would work better as liners than over all or lip colour.

I think I'll go back for more. I don't really like that they've made every colour a catch-all for every purpose, but I'm so happy with Wise that I'm open to trying a reddish colour for lips/blush. I never wear blush or lip colour, so this might be a comical experiment, but judging by my near-daily use of the Wise on my eye lids, I might actually get into it.

I'm also out of Big Shampoo (LOVE) and T for Toes, which is most essential since I work primarily outside and wear Tom's shoes.

Big shampoo is awesome.

I did henna last night, mixed it with a jar of rainbow henna that I bought when I first considered henna but got scared. Love my color. I may brave Caca rouge next time.

I'm very impressed with Feeling Younger, pleasantly so. I've been mixing it with Enzymion and light pink colour supplement and it's great- like a custom BB cream! Really evens out my skin tone. I'd like to try out Emotional Brilliance too but I have a pot of an ELF powder I need to use up first. I also adore the old liner and the dark shimmery blue liner and they are on my list for pay day!

hoo boy, our mall just got its own LUSH store (it was previously only in a macy's) and they had their official grand opening event today. i made a point to go, and i'm very happy i did, but i still dropped some moolah, let me tell you what.

they were running a special where if you spend $80 you get a swag bag with $30 worth of stuff in it, and i noticed that one of the items wasn't vegan (ocean salt), and the girl was SO NICE and tracked down a manager to make sure i could swap for something else (buffy! squee!) and then i just decided after all of the legwork she committed to trying to make sure i didn't feel alienated, i was going to go ahead and spend $80. (and then instead i spent $120, ha!)

here is what i bought:
eau roma toner (repeat purchase)
ultrabalm (repeat purchase)
slice of coalface (repeat purchase)
handy gurugu (repeat purchase, this one is for my office)
dream cream (brand new to me, but i love it already)
ro's argan (have tried a sample before, absolutely adore it)
cupcake mask (bought on a whim)

but here are all my freebies!:
buffy (x2! because that girl was AWESOME)
sexy peel soap
happy hippy shower gel
some kind of bath bomb but i forgot to check which one (mrs whippy maybe?)
sample of BIG shampoo

...i also sampled creme anglaise in the store. it was amazing but much more spendy than the dream cream, and also heavier. i'll save it for a winter purchase.

Nice haul! When I was in Denver two weeks ago I made it into a real Lush store. I got sexy peel soap (new favorite), new! shampoo, angels on bare skin, and tea tree toner, plus a few samples because the sales person who helped me was great. I like everything so far but will probably go back to karma komba shampoo when I'm done with new.

Creme Anglaise is so beautiful. It is spendy, but it lasts ages (I still have over a quarter of the tub I had for Christmas and I use it at least twice a week) and because it smells so amazing, I count it as perfume! And you know, it's pretty cheap for perfume! Plus it does wonders for my skin without being heavy or greasy.

We have a Lush store but I've never been in it and it's 10 miles away? I'm lazy. Since I started exercising, my face has been acting funny. I'm washing it after but still. I wonder if a tea tree oil. I might just go to Target to see what I can find.

For those of you who henna (I use the rouge), how long do you leave it in for root touch-ups? My roots need to be touched up badly but I'm having a hard time finding the time to do it as I've been working near-constantly. Can I get away with a 3 hour henna-ing and still match my ends? If it helps...my hair is dark blonde naturally.

bluedawg, I love the cupcake mask! When I'm having hormonal chin pimples during that time of the month, I use it and it makes my skin clear up and be really glowy. Love.

Last time I did it for 3 hours and it worked pretty well. The time before I only had about an hour and a half spare but that also seemed to work enough to stop me feeling self conscious (I have a big patch at the front that looks different from the rest of my hair and which I assume would be a big white streak if I didn't use henna. The henna doesn't cover it so much that it completely blends with the rest of my hair but I don't mind the contrast).

You could maybe do it incrementally. Just use small lumps each time, leave for an hour or so, but do it every other evening so the colour builds up? Worth a try, and at least using small amounts seems to require less clean-up and time spent trying to shampoo all the bits out!

oh yay! for those of you who love the cupcake mask, how often do you use it (and/or how many uses do you get out of one tub)? i know it says to use it up within three weeks and i'm just wondering how that parcels out.

i'm definitely having "that time of the month chin bumps" ;) so i'm going to use it tonight!

I use it probably once a week, maybe twice? I don't heed the "use within a couple weeks" thing, because I just can't get through a tub that fast. Love! And it smells like chocolatey peppermint, yum.

I'm going to buy a solid shampoo tomorrow, not sure which one yet. I have pretty "normal" hair with no special needs, perhaps leaning a bit to the oily side. I've been using jumping juniper before and it was fine, not anything special about the smell though. Perhaps karma? I want my hair to smell like I mean it.

And perhaps ultra balm?

i got squeaky green for christmas (it was part of an all-vegan gift set) and it was my first-ever shampoo bar; it's working really great for me. i also have pretty normal hair, roots can get a bit oily depending on the styling products i use. with squeaky green i can easily go every other day, sometimes squeeze in a third day.

The karma shampoo bar is really nice. I don't remember the specific ingredients anymore but I remember that it adds a lot of shine and does help a bit with oily hair, plus it smells like karma, which is awesome.

I love karma komba. It was the first shampoo I tried from Lush and made me fall in love with the solid bar shampoo. It smells wonderful, though I wish the smell lasted longer out of the shower. My hair was super shiny with it too.

I like soak and float as a solid, the smell reminds me of campfires.
