Hey everyone. May be headed out to the GA Aquarium for a day trip. Am bad with geography and am wondering if anyone knows of any vegan restaurants nearby.....

P.S. I hope it is not a huge vegan faux pas that I want to go to the aquarium.

I'm not sure if it's in walking distance, but Chinese Buddha has a full vegan menu (you just have to ask for it).

How far out of downtown are you willing to venture? There's a bunch of stuff within a 5 or so mile radius.

oh we're willing to venture out of downtown, but probably not more than 15 miles out.......

Well, there's Soul Veg. Basically, it's all vegan soul food. Mac and cheese, burgers, soup, greens. Their salad dressing is amazing. SV is maybe 5 miles from the Aquarium?

Dough Bakery is an all vegan bakery. Their breakfast biscuits and actual bakery items are better than the sandwiches, but most everything I've had from there is really nice.

Sevananda is the local co-op. They have a hot bar that is usually pretty dang good. 95% of the time it's all vegan. It's in Little Five Points.

Village Pizza has vegan options by the slice. Soy cheese, fake meats, lots of veggies. The slices are pretty huge too. Parking on Carroll St. is pretty terrible though.

Mediterranean Grill is one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. Great falafel and hummus wraps. There's one fairly close to where you'll be.

There's also the Atlanta Food Truck Park off of Howell Mill. I think Soul Veg has a truck now. Yumbii is an Asian fusion truck that has an amazing stir fry tofu burrito with sesame fries.
