It's on Amazon and you can preorder the vegetarian one (it says vegan options for every recipe on the cover). Different authors so I'm assuming they will different.

I went to TJ's last night and found coconut yogurt! It's definitely repackaged So Delicious. My store only had blueberry, but I hope they get more.
For coffee fans, I've been digging the organic fair trade Honduran lately. I think it's new-ish.
Was not a fan of the fresh rice noodles. They were so starchy and sticky even after rinsing them thoroughly. I tossed mine in peanut sauce (which I made with the recalled peanut butter - oops!) and it was kind of a gummy mess.
I forgot to look for the cinnamon rolls. Boo. Next time!

I hope you don't get sick from the peanut butter! That recall includes a lot of smaller store (like TJ's) brand nut butters. I have some from Sprout's I have to throw away before I forget.

I'm going tomorrow to restock on sunflower seeds for my Artisan Vegan Cheese-makin'. I'm so getting another salt & pepper chocolate round and some wine.

We have vanilla and blueberry...I wonder if we will get all the flavors at each store.

Yeah, sadly those chocolate, coconut, mango things have milk in them.
The coconut chips are so freaking amazing! I debated getting them cause they just looked like pure saturated fat, but boy are they worth it!
The refrigerated rice noodles are actually really good. You just have to be very careful not to over cook them. Don't cook them and then add them to a dish. Cook whatever you want to add them to, and then just throw them directly out of the package in with the other food for only long enough to heat them through, like maybe a minute and a half. Stir, and that's it!

Ok, we're stopping at TJ's at the beginning of an 8-hour road trip. We don't get to go there very often. What are the mandatory food items we need to get there that'll be good to snack on in the car?

What are the mandatory food items we need to get there that'll be good to snack on in the car? Pita chips and Hummus (I like the reduced guilt sea salt best). I also like the baked BBQ chips Lentil wrap and/or eggplant veggie wrap OR grab some pita and some baked tofu and make wraps yourself. Easy for the non-driver to do. Easy to eat while driving. I like the savory baked tofu, and it will give you a protein boost. Rocky Road Squares or Joe Joe's Peanut butter pretzels Seaweed snacks, if they are your thing Sliced apples! Perfect for snack in the car Yogurt Super cheap bottled water A tub of the coconut ice cream. Eat it in the parking lot ;) ^^all that would probably be enough for me and my partner...

Baked onion rings snap pea crisps lavash chips veggie sushi joe joe's, maple cream sandwich cookies, or caffe twists Tofu burgers in the refrigerated section. Two in a pack, and they are good cold right out of the package. seaweed snacks smoked almonds salted dark chocolate almonds coconut chips And, yes, you are required to get a tub of coconut ice-cream, two spoons, and eat it in the parking lot or in your car.

Rookie mistake: I just walked in Trader Joe's hungry. Bought pumpkin spice rooibos, oatmeal cookies, soft-baked snickerdoodles, ancient grain lentil soup, and 12 grain mini snack crackers. I'm having tea and cookies now. Mmmm...
flavabean: TJ's has good prices on larabars and luna bars and fruit leathers, I think those would be good car snacks, too, along with the cookies and crackers I mentioned. Also, baby carrots/other veggies and hummus.

I'm pretty sure the g-f snickerdoodles are repackaged Enjoy Life brand, so if you're ever away from TJ's and craving them, you may be able to find the EL ones instead (probably a bit more expensive, though).
Also, for snacks, buy the green bean chips and/or plantain chips. They're my favorites!

I really liked the coconut chips! I found mine near the dried fruit and nut section.
