If you follow her on twitter you may have noticed her mentioning surgery and then kind of disappearing. I don't know how many details she wants shared but to sum up: she had minor surgery, something went wrong that had to be fixed, things got worse, and now things are getting slightly better. She did have a breathing tube for a few days, they just took it out but she probably won't be eating much for a few days (but you can send baked goods to her boyfriend for being awesome and telling me all of this stuff even though I just messaged him on facebook out of the blue). I will share this because it's cute and kind of funny: Quote: Herbivores will be interested to note that she was very concerned about whether the nutritional IV bag they were giving her had any whey protein in it. Of course, the painkillers were taking hold at that point, so she also asked for no chicken or yogurt in it, either... Also if anyone wants to send her something more than a card (or want to send your own card), I can PM you his address. Also it sounds like she's in for a long recovery time so if you want to send her something but can't afford to right now, or want to make her something, there's plenty of time to spread the cheering up over. Boo to the hospital, but glad to hear that things are looking up! Wishing you a speedy and yoghurt-free recovery, amandabear! I would totally bake things but they would probably be in a less than appetising state upon arrival and the good intentions would be lost.
