She is in Philly, right? If she can/wants to have visitors, I would totally go visit her...and if there's anything else that would be helpful for someone localish to do, just let me know (I'm in the burbs, but I can get to the city by train).

When I first contacted her boyfriend he gave me the hospital name but said she had requested no visitors/hubbub, I don't think that will change for awhile. I don't know exactly what her emergency surgery entailed, but...um, cut for possible grossness:
