Since Brian Cranston has already (deservedly) won twice, I'm more bummed about Anna Gunn losing out to Maggie Smith. Anna Gunn killed it last season, and as much as I love Maggie on Downton Abbey, literally all she does on that show is deliver sassy one liners.

But also, Jon Cryer beat Louis CK, so clearly none of it means anything anyway.

^True, I thought Anna Gunn should have won as well.

I feel kind of bad for Jon Hamm, but that's a conversation for another thread.

I can't wait for this:

Quote:
Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek to reunite on 'Breaking Bad'
Jan. 29, 2013, 8:26 AM EST

"Breaking Bad" actor Bryan Cranston will be reunited with his former onscreen wife in the hit show's final series after producers signed up his "Malcolm In The Middle" co-star Jane Kaczmarek.

The pair played boy genius Malcolm's parents Lois and Hal in the hit sitcom from 2000 to 2006, and now they will reteam in a much darker setting for the last run of Cranston's critically acclaimed drama.

"Breaking Bad" star Dean Norris uploaded a snap of Cranston and Kaczmarek last week, sparking speculation the actress had agreed to appear alongside her former TV partner. Now she has confirmed her casting in a post of Twitter, writing, "Yes, it's true ... I will indeed be on Breaking Bad. Can't wait for you all to see it. Congrats to Bryan Cranston for his win (at the Screen Actors Guild Awards)."

Cranston added to his "Breaking Bad" trophy haul when he picked up the prize for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series at the awards show on Sunday.

Possible spin-off show.

I'm not really sure what to think about that. I love Saul's character on the show, but I'm not sure if a spin off would be amazing or awful.

I don't really like the idea, to be honest. Very rarely do spin-offs work and I can't imagine a spin-off about Saul.

I mostly trust Vince Gilligan. I think it could work.

Breaking Bad lovers:

The couch gag on The Simpson's tonight is going to a tribute to the show. If you rarely watch The Simpsons, be sure to tune in at least 3 minutes before 8pm, because many times FOX starts the show early and you might miss it if you wait for 8pm to tune in.

Getting caught up on the first half of season 5 (thank you Netflix!).

God Walt is such a crasshole. Also, their baby is such a schlub. I've never seen a baby who was so chill. I really like Mike.

It was so excellent! I have really missed this show. I just want to give sad Jesse a hug. That final scene with Walt and Hank in the garage was so tense and awesome.

I agree, I thought it was great. The teaser in the beginning with the house! I wasn't expecting Hank and Walk to confront each other so soon. I am so excited and intrigued about this season.
