Okay, card was purchased, two small gifts were included, all messages printed and included. I couldn't find a get well card I really liked, then I found one under 'general support' which had a fart joke in it, so that was the clear winner.

Also her boyfriend is continually AWESOME so feel free to send him baked goods. I asked how things were going today and he said she's finally been able to drink clear liquids, and is on less pain killers but she had to have a CAT scan today and a test on her heart tomorrow.
The real tragedy is that this is happening to her at the holiest of times: boot weather and fall tv starting. Anything to cheer her up will be appreciated.
