I have 3 and they are all kind of the same, all minty. Look vegan to me.

That's amazing, I used to love those balms!

So I am doing research - the questionable ingredient on the gloss is: Octyldodecanol,. I will continue looking things up!

The only one I could find was the 10 hour Empire State Building one.

I'm such a Warhol fanatic, I always have to bite my tongue when the 15 minute thing is attributed to him and not Ultraviolet.

I just find him so fascinating. And can't decide if he was just an observer, or if he was actually a bit evil and instigated and enabled a lot of the stuff that went in around him. Tough call.

I want to go to the museum too! I haven't seen any of his movies, but I've read the Philosophy of Andy Warhol, and Popism, as well as a few books about him. I've only seen one of his paintings in real life, Chairman Mao at the Art Institute of Chicago, but it's amazing, the intensity of his work is so much more apparent when you view it in it's original massive scale.

I think he was an observer, not evil, but it's hard to maintain that belief when he's depicted as such a cold person in fictionalized accounts.

Alicia Silverstone has her own vegan line now for Juice Beauty. I haven't bought any of it yet but will next week. There's a lipstick, powder, cleanser and a few other things.
I guess it's been on the market for a few months now, I just discovered it today.

I finally found a matte nude shadow to replace my Smash Box one by Gabrielle Cosmetics. Not as great of pigment but so far the best out of a few I bought!

We do not currently have a particular Vegan Friendly List, none of our ingredients are animal derived ingredients and are mainly derived from Marine Extracts and herbs. I scanned the ingredients and do not believe anything contains milk or lanolin either. I have attached our catalogue we provide to aestheticians which has each product listed with ingredients.

sometimes they have been so helpful, and other times they don't give me info at all:( i asked about the foundation powder & they replied saying there were no animal products in that item. another time i aslked about a powder and got response similar to yours:/

I emailed Face Stockholm about their lipsticks and apparently some of the matte ones may be vegan. The list she mentions does include carmine however, so you would probably need to email them about specific matte lipsticks.

"Both our regular Cream Lipstick and our Veil Lipstick contain Lanolin. However, our Matte Lipsticks are all Lanolin-free and therefore Vegan as far as I can tell. I've attached the full ingredient lists of each so that you can make an informed decision."

Actually I emailed them again and they don't know which ones have carmine. Disappointing!

DKNY Pure Verbena - vegan & fair trade! It is amazing, and my sample is being stretched out till santa brings me a bottle!

Yeah, I know, I hate the world, too. It's 2012! Why are we still testing on animals? Why are more companies turning from cruelty-free to animal-testing? The allmighty dollar. Ajlfkdkdsfjkslsl.

What about L’Occitane? Are they still good? Since I like the verbena I was thinking L’Occitane has one that is vegan...(since the only things they use are beeswax, carmine, honey - and fragrence does not have that usually)...

The boyfriend was pumped on buying me a nice scent. Since Pacifica lasts about 2 minutes on me I wanted something nicer...

L'Occitane are, unfortunately, among those who entered China.

I figured! Ick...I just do not buy a lot of nice perfume and since Sephora is the boyfriend friendly store I am looking for options...

Does Pacifica really not last that long? I just ordered a bunch of samples from their site... :(

Not on me...I mean the mango one lasts maybe 30 minutes at most...However I just use the roll on so the actual sprays may last longer...

Also, perfume is chemistry. It may be different for different people.
