I haven't bought these for ages, but used to be able to get them easily, I think. My usual shop is Sainsbury's and they've disappeared from there. Anyone seen them anywhere else recently for me to check?

I know that they used to have them in Tesco, and they have them on their website for online shopping.

My local Waitrose has them, but supply seems a little erratic.

The only place I've seen them is Oriental Mart.

I heard there was a harvest failure leading to a shortage?? Anyway it must be OK now as I picked some up in Tesco yesterday.

I second (or is it third?) the sightings in Tesco. That seems to be the place to go.

It's on the Sainsbury's website, so I'm assuming they also have it in store (but probably only the larger ones).

My Sainsbury's used to sell the Birdseye frozen edamamme but have stopped; thankfully our Tesco extra still sells their own brand edamamme labelled as 'soya beans'. Try chinese shops too, my local ones sells them there still in their pods but frozen.

Recently discovered Boots do little pots of edamame for £1....as part of their meal deal....if you're desperate for some :)

Efcliz wrote: I got them in the other smaller Sainsbury's! Now why did I want them? :) haha, I always wonder this when I buy them. I like the edamame/corn salad recipe in VCON, that's generally what I end up doing with them.
