I took all the sheets off my bed to wash them and now I'm trying to decide which is the worst option, making the bed or sleeping on a bare mattress (I REALLY hate making the bed!).

Watching Season 2 of The Voice, playing Lexulous, just called my mom, now I'm gettin' ready to make some TOAST.

Watched Thursday's "Office" episode while eating a ginormous bowl of leftover black beans/ kale that my BF made the other night. Then drove my brother and me to our parents' place (two-ish hour drive) and grooved out to Op. Ivy while he played solitaire on his computer. Talked to my parents for a while and then wasted time on the internet. It was a pretty fun night but not eventful in the slightest.

Blissing out to William Byrd's "Mass for 4 Voices" as performed by the Tallis Scholars, which is so achingly beautiful that I just have to cry.

Biker boy and I went to a brewpub with some friends for dinner and beers. They were doing an Oktoberfest thing including a bratwurst eating contest (barf.) Then we stopped at Kinko's to get some flyers made for his cycling team, and then came home for a cocktail. We watched a bit of a documentary about Bruce Lee and then he left because we both have early morning workouts and are old. Par-tay.

Picked up some books at the post office, yay! Tried to read "Vegan for Life" while keeping the kid from killing himself. Made hummus and somehow forgot to add the garlic - it wasn't as bad as I expected, but not exactly good either.

I was working. Was supposed to be there til 9.45 pm, but couldn't get away on time because the man I was showering would not walk out of the shower room and would not communicate why. Then went home, quickly made lunch for the next day, read a few pages of Winnie the Pooh to try and calm down then went to bed as I had to get up at 6am on Saturday for a very hectic shift.
Next Friday I hope to visit my mum, get lots of hugs and ignore the state of her kitchen enough to have dinner cooked for me.

My husband and I made Gardein beef stew and watched like 5 episodes of Battlestar Galactica, season 2. Might just eat leftovers and watch more tonight.

Baking a birthday cake for the Emperor's party tomorrow. It just came out of the oven and assuming I can get both layers onto cooling racks without any tragedy, I am going to treat myself to a fancy whiskey and a long hard sit on the couch.

I ate a huge bowl of mango bbq beans over brussels sprouts while reading Collapse, and then watched an 81 minutes instructions video. Now it's 11pm and I just ate an apple. Chocolate next? maybe I'll go to bed.
