Hi all,
I'm hoping I can get your suggestions for the very yummiest soup using canned pumpkin. I'm throwing a big Halloween party and there will be no shortage of sweets! But I need to fill out the savory menu, so I'm thinking having a crockpot of soup+bread would be nice. I'd like to do something rich and pumpkin-y, but preferably quick to throw together. Also, if it freezes well that would be a bonus, as I could make it ahead and save my time for all the cupcakes. :)

not very exciting, but for an every day meal I make a corn, and potato chowder that I add canned pumpkin to. Not exactly fancy party soup though.

I don't have a recipe as I tend to just throw it together until it tastes "right", but curried pumpkin soup is awesome.
