We did a ton of his favorite things today. We read about a million books, then a chapter out of The Hobbit, then we played with water in the kitchen, then we took a bubble bath and I let him use my cocoa butter lotion that he likes and put on some perfume. (Dude likes to smell nice.) We listened to music a bit and did this thing he likes to do where he climbs over my shoulder and I flip him about six thousand times. Stuff like that. And then he went to a half day of preschool and came home for his choice of pizza (garlic and black olives) and cupcakes (red velvet sans frosting with a little raspberry syrup drizzled on top. Then we opened presents and now he's playing dominoes with his dad before bed.
Really an awesome birthday. We should do the same thing on mine.
