i will add it to my downcast, good sir.
if i remember correctly, kfischer was initially very hostile, but eventually warmed up. (this was on the old boards, so evidence has been destroyed.) she disappeared after a week or two, i think.
kfischers can be positive or negative. depending on many variables.

Podcast was awesome, keep 'em coming! Also, looks like they spelled your name wrong on the Cool Super Cool website ( http://coolsupercool.com/hang-out-with-me/).

Here's hoping you are upcast to add it to your downcast! if it weren't for downcast, emo meteorologists would be unemployed. but seriously, it's pretty cool. i hadn't had to hook my ipod up to the computer in ages. it's an app that subscribes to podcasts for you, and you never have to bother with itunes ever again! (and if you have a small capacity ipod, you can stream the podcast over wifi without even downloading them if you want.)

(you have to move some letters around. i mean, you don't have to, but you can.) PS some other anagrams of meteorologist: remotest igloo egotism looter go, tiresome lot limo got stereo to motel orgies!

(and i really don't have much space on my laptop to devote to podcasts that i am just going to be listening through my ipod anyway.) and there's no wi-fi transferring, so there's that stupid cable getting in the way. but another reason to dislike it is because when i hook my ipod up to my car's stereo, it disables the ability to pause, rewind etc through the ipod. i need to do it via the console, and those buttons don't make sense. if i have downcast playing before i hook it up to the stereo, nothing changes. 'tis awesome. (i only touch it at red lights or stop signs or parking spots. promise)

It's a one-step process for me, just d/l direct to my phone, but, yeah, I usually stream via Stitcher to save on hd space.

yeah, but can you *subscribe* through itunes on your phone? that's the thing. for each episode you want to listen to that isn't already on itunes, you need to manually find it and select it to download. (it's been a long time, but i remember itunes sending me out to the store app, and then i had to close that and open itunes back up. it wasn't elegant, that's for sure.) downcast does that for you automatically. (it can also stream if you prefer.)

Yeah, I don't remember, either. I just d/l'd the first two podcasts, no option to subscribe via the phone, but I think you can subscribe via iTunes on the computer. Theres probably an option to update to your playlist via iCloud, but I haven't delved into all of that yet. Might not bother at all.
Anyway, back on topic: WHAT UP, MYQ? How was that LCS stint? Would you do it again?

Thanks for all the technological discussion, all. Educational and appreciated! alan wrote: Anyway, back on topic: WHAT UP, MYQ? How was that LCS stint? Would you do it again? You mean, if the show came back? Or if I had to go back in time and decide whether to relive my life the same or different? Either way, yes. It was the biggest progression of my career at once, compared with most other steps that moved things forward in a much more gradual way. Primetime NBC had more people watching it than any other show that I'd done, millions of people every week, so I was happy to be in front of them as much as possible. And I'm happy with the way everything worked out. I mean, if I could do it again and win a quarter million dollars, I'd be happy to do that as well. Did I answer your question? Do you want to ask more? Do you want to answer these questions?

Yes, question answered. Thank you. Good to hear that you got something out of it all, even if that something did not include a quarter million somalians. Or dollars.

And I hear that after $75,000 a year, money can't make you any happier. Though a quarter million could provide many years' worth of $75K's. But seriously, folk(s), happy to have achieved all that I have thus far, and that show was a big help. PS Episode three of the podcast has come out today, and it's a fun one! (Spoiler alert: they're all fun ones.)

Hey Myq! Can you say when you'll release the Isa/Jamie Kilstein episode?
I'm overloaded with podcasts as it is, but I think I have to find room for yours, too. It's so good. Loved the one with the Stop Podcasting Yourself guys.

Thanks for listening. I know there are so many podcasts. And also other things to do in life aside from listening to podcasts. I believe the Isa/Jamie episode will be coming in mid-June. Sorry I have such a large backlog, but I figure it is better to always have too many rather than not enough. In case there's some sort of podcast apocalypse. (A-pod-calypse? It's happening!)
