Hello ppk!
I will be a research scholar at UC Berkeley from November 2012 to September 2013 and I'm looking for a room in Berkeley near campus or near public transport.
My name is Eva and I'm 23 years old, I'm crazy about vegan food and I love baking and cooking! Since I'm new to Berkeley I would like to find a place with nice roommates, cooking and baking and doing other stuff together would be cool :)
I have been sharing appartments since I began studying and I am easy to get along with.
I'm interested in queer politics and feminism, gardening (though I don't have any expericene), climbing and a lot more and have been a part of our local food not bombs group for some years.

The sfchalkboard list at riseup.net gets tons of postings for rooms for rent in Berkeley and Oakland. You should subscribe!

A friend-acquittance of mine has a FB event going on right now stating she has two rooms for rent on Telegraph but in Oakland - $350 for a room and $400 for a basement....
