Did I miss the 2012 Mofo Banners?

Look, I know this wookie has been living in a cave. Do we have banners n' shiitake for 2012?

I'm so stoked about this. I'm hoping to do a good job. I can commit to 20 days.

Not yet! Something un-get-aroundable came up with the person who did them last year, so instead of them just editing the text in their original files, we have to get someone to do new ones. We will definitely have them before the big day, though.

Here are banner instructions for a pc, in case anyone was like me and had to stumble through it. xo A

Vegan Mofo Banner Instructions

Right click on the banner you want.
Save picture as
Here you will change/enter a new file name. I chose to call mine “vegan mofo banner.” Duh.
Save.
That’s it; the photo of the banner is now in your computer. It is not in a photo file that already exists, it is its own file, so don’t look for it in your family photos file.
Now put the photo onto your blog as you always do.
If you want to play around with different banners, do the same thing and just change the name of the other banners slightly, such as “vegan mofo banner two.” For example.

well i'm a complete noob and i need some major explanation as to what this vegan mofo dealio is and how i can participate. i'm guessing it's some kind of food of the month thing. so has oct already started?

i have not idea if i have to have a FB account but i don't. i do blog and flickr though.

awesome, am i supposed to officially sign up somewhere? (edited to add, after some random clicking on that site, it seems the deadline was sept 25??)

also, and again pardon my noobness, but i thought vegan mofo had to do with a special ingredient each month and then you try to cook recipes using that ingredient, maybe i'm just confused? (yes i am!) or does the vegan mofo theme change each month?

People set their own MoFo themes... and some don't even have a theme at all! It's really just as simple as blogging about vegan food every week day (though a lot of us aim for every day) all month.

Sign up to be included in the MoFo bundles (RSS feeds that are all grouped together for easy reading) closed on September 26th, but you can email us your blog details at veganmofoblog@gmail.com and we can add you to the list on the website. If you leave a comment with your details on this post too, people can add you to their own RSS feeds.
