I'm watching! Why am I watching?! I'm Canadian and American politics scare me, but it's a train wreck and I can't look away!

"I think education is important, particularly the future of our economy."

"Overhead is overwhelming."

"I also lower deductions."

I am so confused, and have no idea what Mitt Romney is talking about. It would help if he would use consistent tenses.

I wonder if Romney's talking about the real middle class or his definition of the middle class.

I like how Mitt Romney basically just said he wouldn't sign the tax plan he's been pushing for a year.

why does it sound like Romney is aggrieved by having to participate in these debates. "Listen, no one can say that my plan will add $5.3 trillion to the deficit, because it won't, because I say I won't."

Its just a little too "Because I said so..." Sorry Romney, you're not my Daddy.

I think this whole thing is going to be Obama explaining how Mitt Romney's words don't make factual sense.

Is he really fighting with the presenter about who gets the last word?

I hate that, even though the substance of Mitt's speech is absolute crepe that's easily refuted, he seems to be doing much better than Obama superficially (confidence vs. stuttering etc). I feel like the average viewer isn't going to realize how bad Mitt is doing because he sounds so much better.

I so tired of hearing about middle income Americans. I'm a middle income American, for the first time in my life, and it's forking marvelous. I can buy my weight in kale.

I am kinda worried. Think what you will about Romney, but he's the strongest candidate that the Republican party has had in quite some time. And Obama did get handed a giant bag of shiitake he was never going to get out of.

Really? Because Romney sounds peevish and aggrieved. Like your arrogant dick boss who cuts you off and doesn't let you explain why stuff didn't go the way he wanted. I hope all of America feels that way.
