Ah! I still have to try plain and vanilla! And I was wondering if it was different from their other yofus -or is it just the packaging?

This one is pourable like regular yogurt, the others are a little thicker like 'biogarde' yogurts.
I prefer the texture and taste of the mild&creamy for plain yogurt, but for the fruity flavors I like the tubs better, but that's just personal taste. I don't like the vanilla very much.

Jumbo now sells a soymilk brand called Vivera. Their chocolate is super creamy, and their plain is unsweetened (! finally). Both are 100% organic.

I really like them, especially because they're rather cheap compared to other option. Good value. Also, their tofu is my favorite out of the supermarket tofu's. Theirs is nice and firm, instead of the gatenkaas that is AH tofu.

Fresh news scoop from the Dutch vegan forum: there is now a candy store in the center of Amsterdam with vegan labeled candy (and sugar free, gluten free, nut free etc. varieties as well). It's called candy freak and is located on an alley off the Kloveniersburgwal, just south of the Nieuwmarkt. Their facebook: http://www.facebook.com/candy.freaks.nlTheir website (under construction): http://www.candyfreaks.com/

Trying to decide if I'll have enough time to scoot over there during my break today...

Oh, neat! That candy store is just near my house. I even noticed it when I walked by yesterday, but didn't realize it was special.

Yeah, baby! They don't have a huge selection of vegan candy, but there are a few interesting things. In the pick-and-mix they've got vegan sour bears, gummy bears, sour fruit, along with some chocolate covered nuts/raisins, and some other stuff (candied ginger, mints). AND they have a few different Go-Max-Go bars. These are waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too expensive, but I couldn't resist splurging! Definitely not something I'll be doing on a daily/weekly basis, but a nice treat once in a while.

I found these cake decorations on special at the Aldi in Belgium today. There were a bunch more, but I didn't have my e-number list with me to check the colorings. They might have also been vegan, but these definitely were! I know the Aldis in NL and BE don't always have the same thing, but if you've got one nearby, it might be worth a look.
