Sooo.. I moved to Fayetteville, North Carolina from Juneau, Alaska at the beginning of the year, and all i can say is what a culture shock. I did find some cool places around town to shop and stop by just in case for some odd reason you're in the area. First off, "The Fresh Cafe" is an awesome place to eat. They have Vegan, Vegetarian, and Meat Eater menu ideas. Pretty pimptastic, everything is made daily (like they're pasta and things) Awesome cute place, has outside tables also so you can eat in the sunshine, another perk is they have some yummy beers to try while eating outside and chilling. My favorite place to shop, other than the actual grocery store? "The Apple Crate" its a 4small natural foods store with tons and tons of vegan foods and munchies. My husband has a real sweet tooth, and i can't make cookies and cupcakes all the time, and they have a bajillion and two vegan options for cookies and sweets. Plus the sell Tofurkey pizza which is a big treat for my husband and I.
Anyways, just wanted to blab about it. Especially since from being from the West Coast this area is really whack for me.

My Fiancee is from there...last time he went back for a visit I didnt go. Mostly because of money issues but also partly because he insisted that there would be NOTHING for me to eat and i would be miserable.
I guess he was wrong! the town sounds a lot more progressive than it did 8 years ago when he moved. Glad to hear it too!
