hello, i saved the thaw instructions from my pepperidge farm puff pastry package but not the oven cooking instructions! can someone please tell me what oven temp (i'm in the USA) and how long i need to cook the puff pastry? i'm just cooking it plain, all by itself, for the un-chicken pot pie recipe in the vegan sandwich cookbook. thanks in advance!

Here you go, is this what you are looking for?

http://www.wegmans.com/webapp/wcs/store ... tId=352684

They have the ingredients and cooking/thawing directions on there

yes, this is exactly what i am looking for. but the box image (thank you!) says to bake as directed in the recipe. yet the recipe in the vegan sandwich book tells me to bake as directed on the box ;)

Oh...I have never baked a puff pastry alone before, it was always part of a recipe. And I use that brand too (vegan!)

Perhaps the cookbook author uses a different brand that has just plain baking instructions on it.

Maybe someone else has used it for this recipe, or for a pie in general and can tell you?

well i think hubby & I will be okay..... cooking is in progress..... a bit of googling came up with some info, so i think i'm going to try 375 and bake the puff pastry for at least 15 minutes but still check before and after in case it needs more or less time...... i do appreciate your quick reply!
