That smile Romney had the whole time was odd. It's like his advisers in the back said "Smile! Americans trust a man who smiles." *awkward Romney smile* "Close enough. Go get 'em tiger!".

Its kind of funny/sad hearing Romney supporters saying the Obama's people fudged the revised job data that came out today because he lost so badly in the debate.

Um, I'm pretty sure Mitt Romney is Mexican.

And I'm dense because I didn't realize that Romney was mormon, I thought christian-Republican types didn't consider mormons one of their own, much like catholics aren't one of their own?

Well his dad was born in Mexico! And you know, if only he were Latino he would probably have a huge advantage, because that's how America works.

(Yes I'm joking. But he keeps on bringing it up.)

Yeah, I encountered one of those mormon colonies in Belize. They don't integrate with the culture, they keep their American citizenship and what not, not sure how he can pretend to be even part Mexican.

Of course he's Mexican. He's got the spray-tan to prove it!

Don't even try to make any sense of the mind of the Christian Republicans. You can't.

Yeah, but Mormons still believe in Jesus, and they're anti-choice and gay marriage. They've got some of the little details wrong (like that awkward polygamy thing), but hey! close enough.

I want to care enough to watch the game show debate tonight...but what I want to see happen won't. I want Biden to just out and out berate Ryan on his hypocrisy, I want the "wash my trans-am in the whitehouse driveway" Biden to come out against the lovechild of Screech and AC Slaterthat Ryan will forever be known as...

but I fear none of that will happen, at best Biden will show Ryan up and the polls might shift back in President Obama's favor...or at worst Biden will show the same tenacity that Obama showed in debate #1 or will let slip some priceless soundbite for the GOP media circlejerk and the dancewill continue...I hope I'm wrong.

I am hoping for something funny. Last presidential election the debates were funny. The only thing funny so far has been the moderator's weird looks and the big bird reference. I need more.

Also, I want Biden to crush it. But if he could crush it while saying something weird (but not politically damaging) at the same time, that would be even better.

For some reason, Paul Ryan's facial expression just now made me explode into laughter.
