I really liked the last All Stars so I will definitely tune in for this next one. This is going to be a trainwreck... Wendy Pepper! Casanova! I'm giggling already. http://www.examiner.com/article/project ... h-picturesi admit, i was no fan of wendy pepper at all on whatever season she was on. not just for her weird personality, wobbling between sincere and fake, but i didn't like her point of view. i was confused that she made it to bryant park. casanova and his $1,000 pair of pants (or whatever they cost) was a very interesting guy, i'd tune in ;) and Andrae Gonzalo was freakin' hilarious, especially with his made up dating-fighting scenarios between tim gunn and another contestant. i was no fan of suede, no offence to any of y'all, but i personally find it so annoying and way weird when people talk about themselves in the 3rd person. but again, i'll be tuning in as i really did like the last all star series.

It had a zipper in the original too! I remember because I thought it was shitty that they didn't complain about it on his outfit. And I guess white really was impractical. It's frustrating that he should win when they had to change it so much to actually sell it.

What a weird asparagus episode of Project Runway.
I actually didn't really like anyone's outfits. Dmitry's was kind of cool. I would probably put my kid in that (and yeah, he would love the hood). Christopher's looks like Easter at Walmart.
Sonjia, I like your clothes, but please stop describing looks you don't like as "homeless".

Zoe Saldana is, without a doubt, the best guest judge they've ever had. Girl knows her fashion (both construction and aesthetics), and is very eloquent with her critiques. Love her.

She was so brilliantly well spoken. And had great critique. Very refreshing. I just am not a huge fan of anyone's work this season. Maybe Fabio. It is much better technical work than had been in the past.

Melissa's my favorite, just because her style is the closest to my own... but I'm pretty happy with who's moving on. If I had to choose someone to go last night, it would've been Sonjia. Her construction is great, but I find her kind of boring.

Sonjia's was so ugly this week. Reminded of the the batman poison ivy dress, only somehow frumpy. I'm pretty happy with the final 4 I guess.

I am so surprised at the final 4. I really thought they would do just 3 and for that I had picked Chris, Dmitry, and Sonjia. I was really surprised that they chose 4 and dumped Sonjia. But now I'm excited to see what Melissa and Fabio show. I think it is going to be an awesome final runway. But I saw some sneak peeks at the end of the show that seemed to indicate that maybe out of the 4 they were going to whittle it down to 3?!?!

Yes, what she said to Melissa was amazing, must have made Melissa's heart and soul smile. I liked that she didn't try to sugar coat things and told it like it was.

I didn't get Melissa's at all - it was neither avant garde nor that attractive. Sonjia's was also ho-hum. Fabio's was interesting because I actually liked the dress/pants or whatever it was, hated the jacket.

Last season, they sent four home to make a collection, and then chose three of those for the runway. I think?

And Michael Kors complimenting her for her skills working with leather? I thought the turquoise leather vest was the worst part--it just did not look sharp or well made, and it wasn't flattering. I also couldn't figure out why all of the designers were so matchy matchy with their fabric choices. Never before in these types of challenges has it been a requirement that they use exactly the same colors as the makeup--I would think complementary fabric colors would be just as good if not better.

I'm happy with the final 4, I think all of them will have interesting collections.

I think the challenges have been more boring than the designers themselves - like a lot of the challenges weren't wacky or out-of-the-box. I think Dmitry is the best out of these four at making clothes, but obviously that doesn't mean he's going to win.
I've only been watching PR for 4 seasons so I don't recognize most of the people on All Stars. I wish old seasons were on hulu.

If you get the chance, I highly recommend watching the first 3 or 4 seasons. Some of the best, most memorable characters of the series! Also, the show still had integrity and the clothes were a million times better.

That's why I won't be checking into this specific thread until after I've seen the "new" episode tomorrow on hulu ;) We have a really cool indie video store in our town that lets you rent 5 old releases for $5 for 7 days, that might help you catch up ;) Maybe you have a hip old school video store near you? p.s. and yes the challenges have been boring. the one where they had to spray paint a bunch of shirts and sell them was lame. i also wasn't overly fond of the kids r us/heidi klum challenge either or the rockettes one. sigh, but i still tune in hoping the challenges will eventually get cooler ;)

a) God this is boring. b) Fake elimination is stoooopid. c) Everybody's clothes look like crepe, but interestingly all for different reasons!
