I am married but I have a crush on a friend who I am only friends with because I had a crush on him in high school (more than 20 years ago) and then ran into him as adults. (we have enough in common as adults to sustain a friendship, but usually when I run into people I don't pick back up with them - I only did so with him because of the crush) It's a special kind of torture because nothing is ever going to happen.

Meeting crush for something vaguely resembling a picnic. I made bread and have various things to use with the bread for eating. And also, I have a frisbee? I had suggested meeting up to play frisbee because those are the kinds of ideas I have when suggesting hangouts, and the rest just kind of got planned organically.

Anyway the point is aaaaaaaaahhhhhh.

It was a lot of fun! Um I asked her afterwards if she would be interested in grabbing dinner sometime next week. I was probably noticeably nervous because I was. And she was like "Yeah! I would like that." Soo I think it might be a date? But I didn't actually use the word "date". I'm not really sure why not. So it's possible ambiguity remains.

My huge nonwork crush is engaged so that's a wrap.

Work crush is still adorable and is talking a lot now, which is cool because he's really quiet.

The guy I'm crushing on was super nice to me today. Also, my best friend encouraged me to go for it. However, I don't want to loose a friend (he's one of the few I have up here).

I had an elastic band. She stole it and then shot me with it. Is elastic band assault a form of affection?

If I went on a picnic with a boy, and he baked me bread and then nervously asked me out to dinner, I would totally assume it was a romantic interest date type dinner. Hope it goes well!

Nnnnggrrrrrrrr..... Cruuussssshhhhhhhhh

Sigh.

I realized I had all this produce I really needed to use, so I texted him saying I had a huge pot of soup for dinner if he wanted some, and he and his best friend (who I also really enjoy hanging out with) came over, and it was so fun. They loved my soup and brought hazelnut chocolate coconut ice cream and stuff to make garlic bread and we watched Doctor Horrible which crush had never seen and and... Sigh.

OMG I almost forgot!!!! We went on a dog walk (he has a malamute mix) and we went to the nearest park where he spun me on the tire swing!!! It was so cute, omg.

Aww, Mars :3 That sounds great.

Crush and I are meeting up to play board games tomorrow night. Based on recent stuff I reeaally think it's mutual. So yeah I'm getting excited.

So, I'm sleepy, and a little sniffly - but! I just got a text from minor crush telling me what bar people are migrating to for his b'day celebration. It's a 15 minute bike ride from my house (uphill). Should I go?
I would also have to top off my tire.

Ok, the fact I'm debating means this is, in fact, a minor crush.

I have a very minor crush that feels stupidly self-centred. A person I work with seems to think I'm amazing, so it's a self-confidence/braggy crush. As opposed my fiance who knows much more about me and knows I come with flaws. I feel like such a narcissist for letting the former think I'm actually a good catch, but I'd never in a million years act on his attraction to me. It's just refreshing to be appreciated? I dunno, it all sounds so shallow. Whatevs. I'm human.

Aren't we all.

Okay, here goes, as long as I'm channeling subconscious messages whispered to me by my cold meds...
New mind crush. The guy totally looks like Captain Jack Harkness with different hair.
I've got it under control.

Went to class with my crush (we live in the same neighborhood and have the same class). Also, he might hang with a group of mutual friends later this week. And I'll probably see him tomorrow.

huh, I am developing a weird crush on someone who is so outside of my usual type that it is really throwing me off.
cute though, and nice, and smart levels of funny, so the basics are really strongly represented. hmm.

Hmmm... does one's crushing reach a new level when you spend $120 on sex-related products for your crush to use? Meep.
