from my "odd food combos that somehow work" file: (don't you have one of those?) Today I grilled some portos, stuffed 'em with homemade hummus, topped it with a pile of sauerkraut and draped them in roasted red bell pepper. piled this on toasted gluten-free brown rice bread schmeared with dijon. and stuffed it into my face! How on earth does hummus pair with sauerkraut?! that shouldn't work, but it sure did! Remind me sometime to tell you guys about my kimchee guacamole... shoveled into my face with toasted onion rice crackers...

Apples and tahini (or banana and tahini). Just dip and snack or put them in a sandwich. YUM!
