i'm not sure if we're to believe that she's THE gossip girl (i.e., that she's been GG all along) or if we're to believe that she's "the new" gossip girl. didn't the VO in the beginning say something like 'an all new GG' or something like that? can't remember, and already baleeted it.

Oh my god Dorota is the best. I haven't watched this show in a good 2-3 months so I'm pretty lost but Dorota's "Is there anatomical reason lonely boy is always so lonely?" was the best.

Ha! I'm in the same boat! I was like, what the shiitake is going on. Dorota though, she's a champ.

Right! I was just thinking tonight before watching like, meh, GG is SO boring
Yes. That is how you do it. I forget how he died even, but I guessed that might have been the case when Blair opened the door. Before that I had no idea. Amazing.
I love the idea of Dan and Blair, but my God are they boring. Why is everyone so boring?

I totally called that Bart didn't really die. I thought his death seemed sort of odd and they never really talked much about the details of it. I don't think this show's going to last much longer though. I was wondering, who is taking care of Dorota's two children? Her and her husband seem to always be working!

Maybe that's where Eleanor and Cyrus have been, taking care of the little ones :) I miss Cyrus.

+1 on all the Dorota love!
I finally finished watching series 5! The whole series was utterly ridic, I still love it but the storylines were all over the place & all the twists were pretty silly! I can't believe the next series is going to be the final one though.

I love the 17 your old girl; Sage? She was on the US version of Skins, and I think she's fiesty and fun. OLD PEOPLE read GOSSIP GIRL! Lol.
Otherwise, yawn. I'm sad to see Dan so disillusioned, but it makes sense that he is. He should try being disillusioned with better hair though.
ETA: Georgina watching him sleep was my favorite part of the ep.

She and Ivy need to be sent to live with Vanessa and Jenny. It really bugged me that none of them even thought about Serena over the summer but when they think she's about to get married, they are determined to stop it without even asking her if she's happy! And she's with the guy from The Girl Next Door! I can't believe I am still talking about this show! It drives me nuts :D

I loved the ep. I thought it was a nice wrap up even if it makes me feel like Sally Field in Mrs. Doubtfire when she finds out Mrs. Doubtfire is really her ex-husband and she keeps saying, "The whole time?!"

I can't believe it's over! I didn't watch bc I'm in London but I read the recap. So amazing to have it be Dan! I love that. I totally can hear the Sally Field 'the whole time' freakout part too NDP! I love that part. And Blair and Chuck are married now? Good good.

Here's the part that I didn't get; in the flash forward it seemed like Georgina was together with Uncle Jack? If so, what a perfect pairing!

I know! Rufus ending up with Lisa Loeb was probably the single most random moment of the whole series.
And I loved it!

Lisa Loeb did a guest spot early on in the series and she are Rufus were friends. Their friendship clearly grew into love.

I think he mentioned something about her in the second to last episode. It was totally in passing like, I'm going to Lisa's show or something. Or maybe she was playing the gallery. Either way, I loved it.
