Nope. Lily does not announce her poops.

not at all. i think ophelia is somewhat ashamed of her poops. she either spends a day and a half covering them up or runs away from the box the second she's done. if there were other cats in the apartment to blame them on, she would deny that any of the poops were hers.

the only time nero alerted us to his pooping was when he had to have surgery on his butt and it hurt him too much to poop. it was the saddest thing in the world :( sad poop meows. When I got him some laxatives and they kicked in and he finally pooped he was so happy! you could tell!

Yes, Hiboux bolts across the house in a stream of litter when she's finished. It's as if she realizes how bad she smells and is trying to evacuate the stench radius.

Ichabod and Lily bolt. But Meatball is like an obsessive compulsive kitty or something. She hangs out and scratched the litter boxer for at least 5 minutes. Get all the corners, then checks to make sure her business is still properly buried, then scratches the corners again...

My previous cat, Niki, did sometimes. But I would describe it as more of a long yowl, and she'd do several in a row--it was like someone yelling "Hello!" to hear their own echo. She also did this sometimes when she was in one of those crazy playful moods that requires bolting around the house as fast as possible and knocking stuff over.


Minnie is like this, and she'll often do it after the other cats do their business, too! What's funny is she's not very good at burying and mostly just scratches the walls and the sides of the litter box, and eventually leaves even though there's still a pile of uncovered poo in the middle of the box.

June is a very vocal cat, so she'll meow sometimes after poops. But it's not an every-time thing. She also fails at covering her poops. Lots of side-of-the-box scratching, floor scratching, and maybe one or two actual litter scratches. But not on top of the poops. She's a smart kitty, so I tend to think she doesn't cover up on purpose.

haha, nope! Both cats bolt out of the room after their business because they know it will stiiiink.

Nope. Mine does the dump and dash. We have the litter box shut inside our laundry room with a cat door for access (to keep the dog from "cleaning" it for us) and as soon as I hear the cat door slam I know there's something stinky waiting for me.

One of my three (Bianca) does ...... but she also tends to be vocal about everything else so its very keeping with her personality.

The other two are pretty quiet although Patrick is quite the little (or not so little) "kitty litter sculptor" and likes to create huge monuments to and with his poop.

Isabel is all business -poop and run (usually in the direction of the nearest bowl of food).

But like I say all of the time........ I love them all :)

Luna usually covers it up, but sometimes she has these epic poops that look like they could have came from a human. Or an elephant. She leaves those on display for me.

No, but she sure throws a party while she's in there. She'll stay in the box for a good 10 minutes sometimes just getting down with her bad self.

It's not every fur mom who can brag that her baby is the Michelangelo of kitty litter and poop.

My Moliere doesn't meow after, but he is always in a super snuggly, affectionate happy mood after every poop. Time for a chin stratch!
