I understand why it feels weird. As for me, I'm not going to go into it with any expectations or notions. It's definitely different than the kind of TV we're used to, but I'm gonna' go with it.

yeah! i think i like where it's going though. i'm wondering if they'll spend more time in 1964 with small breaks to the present this time. instead of what they did last season.

I'm really hoping that there aren't aliens involved though. Like the beginning of last season, I have so many questions! Bloody Face obviously exists, but how and who and so on?! Good ep, but I felt like the pacing was off. I love the rapid pace of the modern-day scenes though. Obviously, the past is what this season is about, but I just wish that some scenes were at least more interesting. Last season, no scene with Jessica Lange could ever be boring, but this season...
Oh, and why did they cast Chloe? She's AWFUL at playing this role. AWFUL. She needs to stick with characters like the one she played on Big Love.

Finally watched the first episode of the new season and I thought the scene before the credits was stupid but everything afterwards was really good. I think Jessica Lange is doing an amazing job and I really like all the time spent in the past and hope they keep it primarily that way.
