Not in a bad way at all, but people are really amazing. Odd that it takes such a bad thing (a baby dying) to restore your faith in humanity being good.
The amount of support my husband and I have received is just astounding to me, the cynic of humanity's well, humanity.
Family, online communities, moms' groups, the hackerspace, people I've volunteered with years ago, the UU church, everywhere..have came out and let me know they care, offered food, rides, whatever possible, it's just amazing to me. The outpouring of love, it makes me want to stay, stick around. I feel this incredible sense of community with humanity. The baby's book has 16 pages worth of people wanting to say something.
I don't know, I just felt like sharing because I think sometimes vegans think the world is not always very nice, but there are lots of nice people out there. (or at least that's what I've always felt, is that the world wasn't so good) The world DOES have caring people..
