Two students at my alma mater were arrested on Friday for killing and mutilating a bird in Vegas. The case is naturally still pending but the facts so far look pretty awful. There are so many caring, compassionate people at Berkeley Law doing so many wonderful things, and it's appalling to see these two committing such malicious violence. I was at the school at the same time as at least one of these guys and that kinda scares me. This news hit really close to home.
