I'm so jealous! I wish I didn't live 2 hours away. I'll need to arrange to be in the city for another meetup, I love Sadie's.

I know what Tea looks like so I'll find him all right but I've never met lobsteriffic or annamal (or whoever else might join us!) but I think I'm wearing (blue) jeans and a red jacket and maybe a grey long-sleeved shirt OR my teal cat project shirt (just going to get dressed now and haven't decided which top to wear yet) but that's my face in the av, even if I get dressed in completely different clothing than I just posted here (because when I get to my closet, I'll see what I'm "in the mood" to wear today) maybe you'll recognize my face. See y'all shortly! <3

Tea, I might resort going around from table to table whispering "PPK? Are you from the PPK?" if no one I recognize is there yet!

Does anyone have any leads on vegan tattoo artists in Toronto? I found Archive (on Dundas) on Google. I was wondering if anyone knew of any others.
Edit: nevermind...I actually did a search on this thread, which I should have done before posting.

I get my tattoos at the Pearl Harbour Gift Shop, if I didn't post before. Glennie is my girl. She was vegan and knows vegan inks.

Thanks! I'll check her portfolio out! I'm looking to get a portrait of my deceased kitty done.

If anyone is interested, the PAWS animal shelter (it is all cats at the moment) is having their 40th anniversary event on Nov 25th. I'm working with the chef to make sure the food is yummy and vegan and there will be a silent auction and all of that jazz. Over the past few months the owner as rescued around 200 cats from Hamilton Animal Control, which is a very high-kill shelter. https://www.facebook.com/events/521513921210404/?fref=ts

So I was walking along the Danforth on Monday, between Pape and Chester stations and a few blocks from The Big Carrot there seems to be some new sort of health food store/ubermarket called Happy Planet or Healthy Planet or something like that? I didn't go in because I was already loaded down with some bags from The Big Carrot, but I never even knew this new store was there and I think I'll have to go back and check it out because it looked bright, shiny, big and new with a deli right up front.

awesome! I've lived here for over 5 months now and I still haven't made it to the Big Carrot. Maybe this will give me added motivation!

That is amazing. Healthy Planet in Markham has a variety of milk alternatives, GF pastas, a pile of products for the home, and then mostly supplements. The Danforth location sounds awesome! http://www.blogto.com/grocery/healthy-p ... th-toronto

Does anyone know of a vegan-friendly Chinese place that is open on Christmas day? I was just going to start calling around, but I thought I'd check in here first. :)
