YES! I was just going to post about this. How has this been advertised so far as I hadn't heard about it until I saw a blurb on Bianca's (Cookin' Crunk cookbook author) blog about it.

I really don't know what to expect. This may sound tacky to say, but I don't want to make the drive to ATL only to walk around a big room with a bunch of tables set up with people handing out flyers and info. I would prefer a bit more interaction. I was hoping the website would have some kind of schedule of events going on, especially as to when the speakers would be speaking. Maybe that will happen as the event date gets closer??

Yes, the speaker and activities schedule is definitely going to be posted on our website soon. The vendors will be passing out information at their tables, but we also have vendors selling vegan food, treats and other merchandise. There is a prize raffle, children's activities, a smilebooth, and other fun stuff!

OMG you are an organizer! Again, my apologies if my above statement did indeed sound tacky, re-reading now, I most certainly think it does!

But nonetheless, I'm psyched to hear there will be a speaker and activities schedule posted at some point. Hubby is game for making the drive so I do think we will make a strong effort to come. All the extra info you added above sounds exciting! Hope you have a good group of volunteers helping you out, I'm sure it is thrilling and exhausting to be planning such a large scale event!

While we haven't had a chance to post the speaker schedule on the fest website yet, we do have it posted on the Facebook event page here:

The fest we great! We had close to 1,000 in attendance. The speaker presentations and cooking demos were very informative, and the vendors had lots of great stuff to offer. a fun day, for sure.
