Oh man, you guys, it's baaaaaad.

It's the most formulaic, simplistic, terrible show I have ever encountered and I can't stop watching it!

i'm watching it, too. i don't know anything about the green arrow comics, but the broad strokes in the show remind me a lot of batman (spoiled rich playboy by day, superskilled badass by night), so i'm sort of squinting and pretending it's just new dark knight stuff. but, yeah, i'm not proud of myself.

I feel like someone half-watched the Dark Knight trilogy while hungover and figured they could make a bland, commercially palatable version by just removing anything interesting from the Dark Knight and inserting terrible dialogue, unrealistic characters and terrible acting.

Why am I watching this??

i don't think there's much up against it in that time slot; if there were, i probably wouldn't have turned it on in the first place. and i won't speak for you, but,

I accidentally downloaded the premiere, and made a decision to stick with it. His relationship with his sister is super creepy. And I wish they'd make the mom be evil in more than just the last 30 seconds. I completely forgot about it in the second episode.

There can't be many bodyguards left in the city. He has murdered so, so many.

Oh and I liked when he did pull-ups and while raising the bar. I can't really describe it, but you know what I mean if you saw it.

I'm not watching on the premise that we finally get a live action Huntress, but she's going to be the fricken Green Arrow's love interest? NOOOOOOOOOO

I am cracking up because I like this show a lot. I think I have extremely low standards when it comes to the actiony/superhero genre.

Is it like the moment in the first Dark Knight film when he gets up out of bed and does sit ups? that was a 8-0 moment of many replays...

I may have to watch this, my curiosity is piqued!

That guy just doesn't look like a convincing archer. He needs to be replaced with an elf.

Aw, I missed the premiere? Since it's on CW, I don't have much faith. But thenn, it IS the Green Arrow...

Aw man, so he's not murdering henchmen anymore?

Also they need to stop showing his scars. So gross. Surprised they let that on TV.

I read this before watching it and am pretty disappointed that it wasn't the major plot. I think it was still the best episode so far, though.

So, I keep trying to watch this, but every time I fall asleep about 20 minutes in. I guess it's not holding my interest, even though I liked the ridiculousness that was Smallville and was hoping for more of the same.

I'm really having a hard time suspending disbelief about Laurel not recognizing him. A little green eye paint and a hoodie is not a disguise.

I've only seen the first two episodes, it's so trashy, I unashamedly love it! I get that he's mum's obviously up to something nefarious, I suspect his friend as well, I'm undecided about the CFO guy who's also married to his mum.

And his sister doesn't look old enough to be legally drinking. She looks about 14, it looks like there's a huge age gap between the two of them.
Something else that bugged me in the second episode, he's talking English to the dodgy business man down the docks, yet when the woman from the Triads arrives on the scene she talks to him in Chinese? She obviously speaks English from when we've seen her earlier. Completely random! Unless it's supposed to prompt an a-ha! moment later in the series.

I can't decide if it gets better, gets worse, if I'm losing interest or if the show is secretly entering my dreams. Something strange is definitely going on though because I'm dreaming about hot dudes and arrows...Plus John Barrowman and Alex Kingston are occasionally on the show and I think I would watch a train wreck with those two. And did I mention the eye candy?

I tend to skip it in the hulu que until it's about to expire though so I'm not that invested.

I hate that they killed off that dude. I watched it for him and Paul Blackthorne. You can tell I'm just there for the eye candy since I don't even know the character's names. But I've had a crush on PB since he was on the short lived Dresden series which is also on Hulu. They kill him off and I'm outta there.

I gave up on this about 5 episodes in and just saw that the finale got an A on the AV Club. So it hasn't really gotten better in your guys's opinions?

All I know is Paul Blackthorne rocked in the last espisode. I forgot what else happened.

Oh, yeah, the last ep went all Revolution with power outages to the City. Didn't the same thing happen in Revenge too? Is power outages the new black?
