Went for a run right after work and now I'm in my jammies, with tots in the oven. Biker boy had a really horrific week at work and is pretty much mentally exhausted so he needed a night on his own to veg out in front of the tv and go to bed early. So it's me 'n' the dog 'n' tots.

Well, it seems like this bottle of (non-alcoholic) apple cider I had in my fridge has fermented and is turning into hard cider... definitely wasn't expecting that when I took a sip! This is about as wild and crazy as my Friday nights get.

I was in the studio until 8, left, saw a cute person for maximum 20 minutes, went to the gym, and I am planning on doing my dishes when I finish watching glee (stop judging me). If I feel fancy I'll make some hot apple cider. and go to sleep so I can go to the bank and studio tomorrow morning. HARDCORE LIVING.

Watched the online Bill O'Reilly/Jon Stewart debate and ate homemade bean dip with tortilla chips. Fun!

I feel like, for me, my night actually was kinda wild and crazy. My boss and a coworker came over after work for wine/snacks, and didn't leave until 10:30. 10:30!!!! I was exhausted.

Finally unpacking my kitchen! I am transferring all of my bulk pantry items (currently in the bags they were purchased in at the store) into glass jars. Totally nerding out on getting organized!

Today was rough. Indian food for dinner (Madras soup!), and now I'm trying to find energy to pack for my trip this weekend and go argue with my insurance company/pharmacy.

i am almost finished making a billion snickerdoodles and pumpkin cinnamon buns for my garden's bake sale tomorrow (today!). i started cooking at 9:00 p.m. DO NOT ASK ME why i started at 9:00, because i had all day with nothing else to do, and i've been planning this for a week. i guess i hate me a little. but i must not hate me too much, because i just let me eat two maple-cream-cheese-frosted pumpkin cinnamon buns at 1:00 in the morning.

I cut my hair into a bob (it was a layered style before, just below my shoulders in back). Immediately got a song from the 90's stuck in my head, maybe I associate that hairstyle with that decade? Then I freaked out a little, because I don't usually cut my hair on a whim like that!

I put the finishing touches on my talk for tomorrow morning and stressed out about having to talk in front of actual people. So exciting.

i decided to stay at work today from 9 am until 11 pm! and then i spent about an hour and a half taking the bus/train/walking home from the train station. whoo! i did get to pick up my new melodica (!) yesterday and got to spend some time noodling around on it while waiting for the bus and on my various forms of transport. that is kind of wild and crazy...? oh yeah and my boss gave us whiskey starting at around 8, so i got to slowly sip some jameson for the last 3 hours...also mildly wildy and crazy?

The husband took kid out to have a superfun time at a small theme park decked out for Halloween but I stayed home because I figured in my snotty and hacking state I would zap any fun out of the trip. I read two three articles and part of a court case. Watched Grimm, fell asleep alone on the couch whimpering from this horrific cold.

Idgy, that picture is too adorable!
I just finished work (I was out all day downtown, meeting friends for lunch, then visiting with my sister, then worked till around 9:00 p.m.) and now I'm just gonna watch one of the old nostalgia movies from the TV movies thread and go to sleep. I am soooo tired.

I was supposed to watch hocus pocus with some folks but I got distracted and spent 2 hours talking to a studiofriend and I feel like that was probably a better use of my time. it was really nice, we just chatted completely aimlessly.

I blocked the biggest piece of knitting I've ever done. For non-knitters, this is basically a tedious thing you have to do at the end that makes the end piece not look like crepe, and the bigger the thing you're blocking is, the harder it is to block. It took me almost an hour! An hour of standing in the kitchen quietly muttering to myself and poking pins in things. It was kind of awesome.
Now I am going to drink copious wine and play a word game with my spouse and go LA LA LA I CANT HEAR YOU to the huge pile of schoolwork I still have left despite the huge amount I already did today.

Me neither! I thought you kinda couldn't block vegan fibers anyway.
