Just watched the first episode. I already like it a lot. I love Connie Britton so much.
My one criticism is that the actors really need to learn how to lip sync better if they're doing a show about singers.

I watched because I love Connie Britton and I just wanted to hear her say "y'all" some more, and she was great in it. I can safely say I probably wouldn't be watching it if not for her, though.

I really liked it! What a great pilot. I hate country music but this is such a fun soapy world to watch. They really need to cut the whole politics subplot. There's enough going on without such a half-assed unwelcome storyline.

I think they had enough pull to get her mom into rehab fast or some sort of temp. housing.

The men on this show are so unappealing. Teddy is such a wimpy prick kind of guy. Deacon is like a (much) lesser version of Grayson from Cougar Town (who is the greatest man alive), and I hate the blonde's awful awful boyfriend. And her writing partner sucks too!
They need some better men to keep up with the awesome women.

I like the song writer girl! Also I like Deacon and the song-writer girl's music partner! Maybe I just have low-standards for my TV dudes. But compared to say Grey's Anatomy I think these guys are doing pretty good.
Hate the song-writer girl's BF, but I think that's the point!
