That doesn't sound subtle at all, but both my husband and I missed it somehow. Derp. Thanks!

Yeah, that scene was weird. Because no where in any form is it all acceptable to open someone's laptop for any reason what-so-ever, never mind checking your email or whatever he said. And why wasn't mastermind Dexter's computer password protected? I know this is a show about a serial killer, and you know, maybe the premise isn't that believable, but I don't understand why they can't make the little details at least somewhat plausible.

Watching for Laguerta's inevitable end. No other reason at this point.

And although really, I shouldn't be reading this thread since I'm on season 2 :) The thing is that there are weird suspension of reality things you see once in a while like in an episode I was watching, Dexter was saying he didn't know something biology related but he went to med school so... like... that would've been one of the first things he learned prior to even going to med school?

So we're back to it just not being password protected. Also, I agree with the prediction of LaGuerta's demise. I think she'll dig on her own about the slide - maybe she'll ask Dexter and he'll decide she's too much of a risk!

I totally didn't see the end of that episode coming, which I should have. I feel like a gullible fool.

I'm ready for Debra to embrace the Dark Passenger and become Dexter's partner in crime. Because it's pretty boring watching her fail at babysitting him.

Okay. I only watched the first ep of the season, but I'm totally happy with it already. Oh, but I was wondering how in the fork they expect us to believe Dexter could kill somebody at the airport. The airport!
Also, I kinda love that Louis is forking with Dexter.
And why did they have to kill the inquisitive black guy cop?! It's motherforking Doakes all over. Not really, but roll with me.
Oh, and ENVER GJOKAJ!!!! I really wish they would let the really good actors live for longer. forking Shawn Hatosy and now this? Haha.
Love this season!

I'm actually not happy with this season. The only reason I watch is to see Quinn's hair get messy throughout an episode. Next time you watch, observe. It is neat at the beginning, and as the episode moves on, it becomes disheveled.

I love Ray Stevenson. I'm glad he's shaping up to be a bad guy in this.

Louis! Nooooooooooo! I was hoping the subplot would continue and Dexter would kill him.

I was really surprised that Louis was killed off so unceremoniously, considering how much potential he had to really mess with Dexter. But I think Dexter's babysitter (why can I never remember her name?) will start to get suspicious of Dexter when Louis is found dead on his boat, since Louis said all that stuff about Dexter before she dumped his asparagus. That culd make for an interesting plot, considering who her brother is.

I don't think they'll clean it up like Dex would, though, because it's not like they have any connection to the boat. I would imagine it would be just enough so that Dex doesn't notice, but some stuff will be left somewhere for evidence to find later on. Which brings me to: Irony: The one person you don't kill is the one who ultimately gets you caught.

But he got fired and they broke up, so unless someone is actively seeking him out, it's likely that no one will even notice for a while.
