Leftover kung pao from a local noodle chain with insane portion sizes. A coworker surprised me with it yesterday and it even said vegan/no fish sauce/extra spicy/extra veggies/tofu on the box. He knows me well!

Peanut butter and chipotle paste in a homemade bread roll. Mushed up chickpeas with onion, garlic and seasoning in a calzone-type-thing. A litre of lemonade (to share, but I ended up drinking most of it). Not brought - any of a big pan of brownies I was under the mistaken impression I could cook while I was getting ready to go out and they'd be ready to cut and take, rather than barely baked so that I had to turn the oven off just before leaving the house.

Didn't exactly pack it since I'm at home, but I had farfalle pasta with esme's sauce, edamame, green onions, and parsley. Oh, and some sriracha squired on top. Soooo gooooood. Now I'm out of soy sauce, though.

I'm been eating so "vegan" lately, if you know what I mean. Today I packed barley and roasted broccoli with cubed avocado, carrot sticks and apple slices on the side.

A huge bowl of this soup I made last night to use up all the root veggies in my fridge. Onions, beets, lentils, turnips, potatoes, garlic. It's not bad.

Taco salad always sounds so good to me.... Didn't pack it today since I was home sick but made a quite good yellow curry with sweet potatoes, bell pepper, celery, and red lentils over quinoa. Came together super quick as well, was done the same time as the quinoa. Yesterday was pretty good too. Had a big salad with romaine, bells, and carrots with some red lentils on the side and a nice orange. Monday, trail mix with all sorts of goodies, some soyrizo with corn tortillas, and an apple. Haven't shopped this week, trying to clean out the fridge from Thanksgiving and all our leftovers all about.

Jasmine rice with a ridiculously small amount of veggie stir-fry, carrots which I didn't have the energy to peel and cut up (which I prefer). Didn't plan well enough. I have no idea what we're going to eat for dinner either.

I actually bothered to pack a real lunch today! It's leftover stir-fry (broccoli, carrots, onions, edamame, corn) and brown rice. Nothing fancy, but it's real food.

Salad and a can of soup. The worst part is that I already know I don't like the soup, but I bought a few of them, so I'm forcing myself to eat them.

Leftover taco salad from last night. Made sure to save some salad BEFORE I tossed with the dressing. Otherwise, super soggy salad. It's Romaine, tomatoes, pickled red onions, black beans, corn, and the taco salad dressing from Low-Cal Vegan Comfort food (love that dressing).
Also a leftover tamale, with ropa vieja type filling inside.
I am so so so so so hungry. I wish it was lunchtime.

Amy wrote: Leftovers of this yam and peanut stew with kale (so good! add lime at the end): http://food52.com/recipes/19854_yam_and ... _with_kale Plus a kale salad (I had a LOT of kale at home) with cucumbers, carrots, dried cranberries, and papaya-poppyseed dressing. And a pear. So I totally went out to buy all of the ingredients for this stew because it sounds amazing. It's on the stove now!

That stew does sound great! I might make it this weekend too.
Lunch today: carrots and hummus.
