I feel like it can't be Estes logically, and it better not be Danny bc it would kind of be cheap to have the one Muslim in the CIA be bad. It would be mind-blowing if it were Saul. I felt like they were giving you the impression that it might be Saul by the way he was acting with the polygraph test. But if they are trying to give that impression it might be to throw us off.

I reallllly hope it isn't Saul. Mandy Patinkin plays the guy with a heart of gold and a screwy personal life so well!

Hm, mentioning the preview is interesting because of Saul's words. I don't want to say anymore because I've learned some people (rightfully) consider previews spoiler-esque. But could be neat, but I'm just not seeing it. I had also forgotten about the mole, so I wonder if they pick that plotline back up or just leave it behind. I wasn't ever sure if the tailor was a plot to kill Brody or not. At first that's what I thought, but then the husband finally watched it this morning and I started leaning more toward dude was just freaked out and scared for his own life...the way he was watching Brody made it seem like it could go either way. I'm still surprised how much I love this show. The acting from every single character is phenomenal.

Wow, I did not expect them to take Brodie into custody so quickly.

PS I love when you hear Brody and Estes with their British accents.

After every episode, I say to myself "How on earth can they go on after this?!" and then the next week something crazy happens and I say the same thing. I can't believe they confronted him, but I'm excited to see what happens next. I could have used more Brody/Carrie interaction and less Dana/high school romance shiitake. I love how quickly they are moving things along with Brody. What a great show. I really like Rupert Friend's character (maybe just because he's from where I'm from outside Philly, and Carrie knew about it!). I love the sexual tension between Carrie and him. God every single man on this show is British in real life! Except Mandy but we all know he can do great accents (esp Spanish). Also, I think Virgil is my favorite character.

So maybe that guy is the leak? Or he's covering up for Estes? Unless they just ditched that storyline, but it doesn't seem like the kind of show to do that.

Yeah he's definitely a suspect. I did think it was a little shady that Estes so firmly declared, "No, we're getting my guy for it", and it's a guy that Saul doesn't know, which is so strange because Saul has been there forever, right?

My predicition is that they're going to cut Brody a deal and tell him to continue playing terrorist and help lead them to Nazir. In return the whole embarassing "congressmen terrorist" thing stays quiet, so everyone wins. But who knows!

I kinda' think something like that, too. I don't know about the everyone wins part, though!

Taking Brody down was really unexpected. After Saul told Estes to leave Brody and just watch him I was like "really? they are going to do a second season of following Brody around?" Then BAM! Carrie brought the hammer down.

Wow, I totally thought that the show was over, but it's just begun. Are we supposed to want Carrie and Brody to get back together, or am I sick in the head?

How forking great is this show! The tension they accomplished with just the two of them talking in one room was incredible. Such a great episode. Claire Danes keeps proving that she's the best actress of her generation. YEAHISAIDIT

RandiJM wrote: Claire Danes keeps proving that she's the best actress of her generation. YEAHISAIDIT I would never have thought that until this show, she is amazing. When she downed all those pills and lay on the bed I felt all the emotions. I caught up by watching ep 2-5 last night, and I'm glad I had a bunch of them to watch because the wait in between would have been excruciating! I was really annoyed when she told him she knew what was up but I think she's right, maybe he knew. I still don't get how they can just make him a deal and expect him to stick with it when a day ago he was so firmly pro-Nazir. I really don't think this can end well for all of them. Oh and I agree with a comment above, Dana's story line seemed a bit like filler, but maybe we need some downtime in between Brody's scenes so we don't all have heart attacks. Oh oh oh, that scene in the woods - this is exactly how it felt to me! It really was like a bad movie where everything goes wrong. It feels wrong, but I laughed out loud at this version.

The only problem is he already had a terrorist party scheduled for the same night! Brody runs back and forth between the parties, but as the night wears on, he starts forgetting which is which. The big blunder comes when he gives a speech about the veep in Arabic. He covers himself by saying, "And if we don't elect vice-president Walden as the next president of the United States, that is how we'll all talk one day." I am laughing so hard, thanks for the link

Has anyone seen the show "Life"? I just discovered it on Netflix. It starts Brody as a detective who was convicted for a triple homicide and then exonerated a decade later. The dialogue is not that good, but I still really like Brody in it.
