EmJaeDee, Jeni7282 and I got together for this past weekend for a little pre-Halloween celebration. The candy bowl:  Fauxstess cupcakes dressed up for Halloween:  Inside shot:  Stuffing with apple, cranberries, walnuts and Field Roast sausage:  Delicious pumpkin dip with apples fresh from the farmers market:   Chorizo, black bean and sweet potato stew, with cat-shaped tortilla chips:

Those cat chips are awesome. Everything looks so good! Was the pumpkin dip homemade or store-bought?

Those fauxstess are so pretty! Also, henceforth all potlucks should start with a candy bowl.

Yes, Pumpkin Dip originating credit goes to coldandsleepy! I blended it, so it was super creamy. Maybe I put some almond milk in, too? I'm crazy like that.
The secret of the Chicago PPK potluck is that, on average, we have twice the amount of food that would be logical for such a small meet up. Witness the time we had more desserts than we did people.
