I'm going to Myanmar and Qatar in December! I'm so excited. I would love to hear anything from anyone who has been to either place. Thanks!

No info, but that's really exciting!

I have a friend from my college who is from Myanmar! I can ask him about nice places to visit, if you'd like.

What ndpittman said.
Also, do you think I'll fit in your suitcase?

We can try!
Niev, thanks! I would love some tips from your friend. I think we know generally the places to see, but it would be great to get cultural advice from your friend (e.g. how to dress, behave properly (I need this everywhere I go), etc). And the food of course.

I've gone to Qatar! Definitely go to the Museum of Islamic Art in Doha. It was designed by I. M. Pei.

And I saw British tourists in Qatar wearing heels and mini skirts, so I think you will be golden with just generally modest clothing.
