Barry M Lash Modelling is my winner so far, I think I like it better than the 3-in-1.

I've seen really good reviews on blogs and will probably order some soon. i just ordered this....lovelyskin.com is having a 20% off sale. i will post after i use it a couple of times:) i've been using manic panic collection & like it(the last tube i got seems different, like it's already old & running out, grrr!), i like lush lash but that brush is pure evil.

I tried the new Origins GinZing mascara- meh. The brush is huge, and loaded with mascara (even when I blot it on a tissue first), so it's kind of impossible for me to put it on without getting it all over my eyelids. The first time I tried to get in near the lashline, I poked myself in the eyeball! It does lengthen, but I can't decide if the results are better than UD.
So I'm still on team Lush Lash.

Just ordered some Barry M 3-in-1 from Asos - thanks for whoever gave the tip on that! I have high hopes.

I remember reading a post stating a Laura Mercier mascara was vegan....but I looked tonight at Macy's and it has beeswax...

i got my barry m 3-in-1 today, and i was surprised by the wand (i tend to prefer a much fuller brush, and i've never used one like this!), but i gave it a test run today and it's pretty nice! no clumping, and wears well. today it's the only makeup i'm wearing (i had a pajama day, woo!), so tomorrow i'll give it a go with the whole shebang.

The website lists synthetic beeswax, but it also lists panthenol in a couple of the mascaras, and I'm not sure if that's animal based or not. They were super responsive when I wrote about the Secret Brightener concealer though, if you're really interested. I was only interested when I wanted to replace UD during the selling to China scare. ETA: I think this is the one that I was looking on based on the contact lenses review: http://www.lauramercier.com/store/shop/Mascara_Faux-Lash-Mascara_prod690002

i've been using Senna Voluptulash & it's pretty good! the brush is weird...it is soft but the end is thicker than the rest, so for me it makes it harder to apply. no flaking or running, & it comes off easily:) i'll post again if it runs out really quickly...i hate when a $20 mascara dries up/runs out in a month. after this i'm switching back to Lush Lash since it has peptides & my lashes have been falling out.

I've been using elf studio line mascara and it is the worst. So flaky! Is the only other cheap drugstore option wet n wild?

i've used 2 different wnw mascaras & they were terrible for me:( really wet & didn't do much except flake & smudge. this was at least a year ago, so maybe they have new formulas.

Is Senna a Sephora brand? I thought they were their own company.

It's ok! I was just scared. Now I'm relieved. So thanks for calming my fears!

I think I want to try the UD mascara but I'm not sure which one to get - I just want something that will darken and define my lashes. I can't stand the ELF mascara I've been using. I feel like I get spider eyes and it takes forever to dry. Help!

I think the only UD mascara that is vegan is the Lush Lash. It'll work fine for what you want; I don't think it's spidery. Actually, I think most of the higher-end vegan mascaras would be good for that. They don't usually have enough oomph for me, but are definitely a natural look. (I used to really like Beauty Without Cruelty's too, but they've changed their formulas all around, so I wouldn't know what to get!)

Ya - the only vegan one is Lush Lash. I think the coverage could be built on. I like lots of lashes and use 3 thin coats on my top lashes!

It flakes and migrates like nobodies business! I could go to work looking fine, go to the bathroom mid-morning, and it would look like it'd been crying. I like Lush Lash, I thought i'd be constantly getting mascara in the inner corner of my eye because of the brush, but I haven't had any issues.
