Wait, are there actually Pringles flavors that are vegan? I've only ever found ones with either definite dairy (whey) or sketchy mono/diglycerides. Is this one of those Oreo-like situations where something is vegan in the US but not in Europe?

I may have eaten 2 boxes of them since finding out 2 weeks ago. Other than that I'm not sure because I couldn't get past the Texas BBQ. I kinda seriously love them.

On the Dutch Pringles website, they list E471 in the Texas BBQ Pringles. I've never seen a can of Pringles over here without it.

Oh man! I wish things like that were marked vegan over here. E471 usually remains unspecified and it's in a lot of products (especially supermarket bread). I've only found one place here (Dirk van den Broek) that lists specifically plant-based E471 on their home-brand products. Most other brands (like Pringles) don't specify on their Dutch packaging. I guess there's less demand for that kind of disclosure here.

I think the Pringles packaging here has 2 checkboxes on it, vegetarian and vegan. But I haven't bought any in ages so I'm not sure if that's still the case.

I was shamefully lazy and trusted the Tesco website that it was vegan.

Yeah, I've seen them with the 'veggie' 'vegan' checkboxes all over Europe. Definitely in Spain, Belgium & the UK. I don't buy them because of the P&G thing but occasionally my husband picks 'em up when we're travelling. I just did some googling though and it looks like P&G sold Pringles to Kelloggs earlier this year. If this is true I'm gonna eat SO MANY PRINGLES!!

I did some googleing! No sign of the new weird sweet Pringles over here but they're definitely Kellogg's now not P&G (fork Yeah!) and the Original, BBQ, Bacon & Paprika are all labelled vegan.

Why? I tried to look around for ingredients and found the white chocolate peppermint tastes like toothpaste. No word on ingredients, though.

If they were vegan I would try them. They sound weird, but might be good.

I've looked (not very hard though) and haven't seen them.

I read somewhere online they are only selling them at Walmart. Not sure if that's true or not.

Good ol' Jewel-Osco has 'em! I didn't have time to check the label but I'll go back and take a closer look soon. Honestly, I walked by the display of them, did a double take, and was simultaneously like, "HEY!" and "EW."

I found them at Target in Sacramento. I bought the cinnamon-sugar and they're actually pretty tasty, salty and just a little sweet with a hint of cinnamon. The white chocolate peppermint ones aren't vegan, and they didn't have the pumpkin spice ones, though I am really curious to try those.

I bought the cinnamon sugar ones. They have a slight buttery taste that actually makes the cinnamon sugar bit work. I've not been able to find the pumpkin spice, but they seem redundant, as if they might taste a lot like the cinnamon sugar.

I thought the cinnamon sugar variety was delicious. The pumpkin spice variety was okay, but definitely not as good as the cinnamon sugar. I think the pumpkin detracted from the overall sweetness (or the company used less sugar because of the pumpkin?) and the salty-sweet balance was thrown off.
