My cable provider is one week behind. I am not a fan of aliens...The natural lube on TV scene was the most shocking for me...The nod to Silence of the Lambs was nice!

i haven't seen the second episode yet, but merlyn making out with sofie is pretty much the greatest thing that's ever happened on television.

I watched the show for the first time tonight, and had to watch more than once to try and figure what the heck is going on. I still don't understand it but am intrigued enough that I'll probably tune in again next week. It's definitely creepy!

Did you watch the newest episode or start from the beginning of the second season? When they show a new episode on TV, they usually do an encore episode and after that one, they usually play last weeks episode. That might help you catch up a bit or at least understand a bit more about what's going on.

I watched the newest episode, then last week's and repeated both. heck, I may have watched them 3 times.

Agreed. I might have to stop watching this season, which makes me sad because I loved last season and was so looking forward to this season. I am fascinated by how they are recasting last season's actors, but I don't like the fact that they are spending almost all the time in the past, I don't like the aliens, and the non-stop torture is making me very uncomfortable.

I still love this season but I really think they've got way too many things going on at once. Aliens, demons, mutants, psycho doctors, serial killers, ghosts (?), lots and lots of torture, am I missing anything here?
How last nights episodes ended is pretty much my nightmare, ugh! It left me feeling all freaked out and disturbed. I never thought I would wish death upon James Cromwell.

he is A lady killer, but i don't think he's bloodyface. they have different body types. and JC seems to be more of a rapist, and might only do it to prostitutes, since they seem to all be in his house. (it might be his way of cleansing the naughty out of the female population.)

you have aliens, demon nun, serial killer who attacks women, flesh eating zombies in the wood, torture porn PLUS the present day with that guy from maroon 5.
it feels like this season has twice as many subplots than last season.

i hope lange takes cromwell to task for drawing/breaking the virgin mary. i enjoy watching their power struggle.

I've read on another forum that people think there's too much going on in this season. I think I'm okay with it so far.

They also mentioned that they think they (and Sister Jude) saw an alien in this weeks episode. I didn't see it but they said it appeared for maybe only 2 seconds.

it was just a flash of the face and maybe part of a hand, during the escape sequence, while the doctor was covering the madonna in lipstick.

Maybe I did see it then. I saw something that just kind of flashed and then Sister Jude kind of turned around or something but I thought it was one of the escapees.

I thought the thing Sister Jude ran into was one of the doctor's creatures, but not sure how it would get into the hospital. Or maybe it was the demon in demon form? It looked more like a mutilated human than an alien to me.

I'm not sure how I feel about this season, I agree, it's bananas.
