feel free to come over here if you need to. our house is drafty, but we can squish into the guest bedroom. we have a gas stove, so we'll be good. (gas heat, but electric motor)

I can't believe we didn't lose power once! Dumbfounded but feeling blessed. I prepped as well as I could have!

We made it through unscathed. We didn't lose power and all our trees are still standing. Our neighbor lost a small tree and another neighbor lost some siding but all in all things went well.

How are we all doing? Barely any damage in my apartment complex, but I've yet to see the outside world. The Brandywine is still expected to flood some more though, and I have to cross it to get to work. So we'll see.

All is well over here. We made out fine. No loss of power, no water in the basement. No trees down. No damage to anything.
But, I don't know how I'm going to get to work tomorrow. I have to go in and Patco still isn't running yet. There website doesn't really have any info on it other than they are still suspended. If they aren't running tomorrow I will have to drive into the city and find some place to park. But I heard parking is hellish in the city right now. A few people in my office went in today. Hopefully there will be a garage near my office open.

maybe drive over the whitman and park in south philly and take the subway up?
i'm amazed how well most of us are doing, considering we were inside the smallest storm cone area thing around 10:30 pm.
either no more of that tree fell, or only a tiny bit fell it's pretty impressive that it fell when the winds weren't even at their worst.
i only have a gallon or so of water on the floor in the basement. (and 37 in a plastic bin in the tub. any ideas what i can do with it? i suppose i can siphon it from the tub out the bathroom window, into the basement window and into the laundry machine.)

Do you have any plants to water? That's my only idea.

Patco is running again, so I should be fine. Back to normal tomorrow. The next three days are going to be hellish at work.

Hi I'm glad you guys are ok! Just got internet and cable back about 10 minutes ago, haha. Luckily we didn't lose power for long at all. Also, our basement ALWAYS floods, in much less rain, but we bought hurricane tape and tarped the shiitake out of the basement door, and it worked! Yay hurricane taped tarps! We really lucked out. My dad and I were watching this huge old tree in our front yard sway sooo severely and we thought it was going to fall into the house. So obviously relieved it didn't.
