Anyone watching?
It seems this show maybe trying to capitalizing on all the horror cable/TV shows that are getting raves. I felt it was lower horror quality (not as scary - with some dumb things thrown in)...However the story line is intriguing and the scene with the elevator has me freaked out and taking the stairs! :)

I watched the first episode. I love Terry O'Quinn so I wanted to give it a chance. It seems cheesy, but a lot of times pilots aren't as good as the show ends up being so I'm hoping it gets good. I also love that Clay from One Tree Hill is in it :)

I watched the first one, but probably won't watch again. But that's just me. It does not take much to scare me; my horror threshold is extremely low. Like when she was on the stepladder in the basement and that woman appeared behind her? That's when I covered my eyes with my hands and peered just enough to grab the remote and change.
Too bad, because the story line is very interesting. I felt bad for the guy with the wife who killed herself..

I liked it a lot! I love what's his face from Lost. I will definitely keep watching to see how it plays out. I love the mix of Rosemary's Baby and the Shining to it all.

The birds were freaky....However this show is not living up to the freaky factor!

I think it's more suspense than freaky. And I like the element of mystery as to what the plan is for the main couple!

I am not really that jumpy though....The only thing that made me kinda jumpy is the birds. I am holding out hope because the couple and the other apartment dwellers have an interesting story....

It just seems to me like the same story lines of numerous other suspense/horror shows and movies, yet it's put together kind of boring and predicatble. I REALLY want to like it, but I'm not there yet. I'm going to continue to watch it in case it improves.

I love that they decided to give the smoke monster his own spin-off!

I am still liking this show!
OK, are they actually at hinting at something here with the smoke monster? I mean, did it not make THE noise that it made on Lost there at the end?

heh. terry o'quinn was making fun of the smoke monster on his twitter, so at the very least, the actors get the joke.

I can appreciate an homage to the smoke monster. It was pretty classic. Also smoke monster dude struck me as pretty attractive for the few seconds we saw him.

So since she had the necklace does she fall in the family tree of the killer?

That maybe the little girl was actually her grandmother (i.e. it wasn't a ghost, it was some kind of spirit imprint caused by trauma). I just hope they don't drop this and assume that we'll totally forget about it! I am definitely curious about who was trying to kill his wife. I think it's a neat angle that he's not just a straight up bad guy.

Also the wife does not seem to know how evil he is!

Also the wife does not seem to know how evil he is! No I think she knows! There was a letter from their dead daughter that she burnt in the episode before this one (I think). They didn't show it for very long but I was able to make out something about her dad being evil. So if the mom burnt it I'm assuming she read it and knows. OK, I found the text of the letter online! It said "Dear Mom, I’m so sorry that it’s come to… If you’re reading this, I need… know that I tried. That this is… fault, So please don’t blame… It’s him. He’s evil. And… my only way out. My only… Please forgive me and … I’ll miss you. I love you. I’m sorry.”"

I think she was a teen, as a teen we see parents as 'evil' for not letting us go out with friends. Also I believe she burned the letter because her husband did not know their daughter committed suicide and she was tired of holding onto that secret.
