When i was a teenager my favorite pasta dish was this creamy sauce they used to serve at macaroni grill. I remember it being really flavorful, garlicky, spicy and very heavy on the cream. Does anyone have a recipe or a variation on a recipe that might be good? I was thinking about using this PPK creamy red chard linguine recipe and adding a dose of cayenne & salsa and maybe a little tomato paste:
http://www.theppk.com/2010/12/creamy-re ... -linguine/I also have a great alfredo recipe from the Vegan Comfort Food book that i use pretty regularly, it's silken tofu, nut. yeast, oil & garlic, but that one comes out tasting really heavy on the tofu flavor which is something i want to avoid.
