Me neither! I thought you kinda couldn't block vegan fibers anyway. Blocking will always even out your stitches though and make things look somewhat better, even if you can't have much effect on the overall shape. (Which is common with vegan fibers because things like acrylic, etc, don't really have much of a memory.) Mostly I don't block because mostly I am very lazy and like to knit very small things, but this is a big shawl that I am sending as a present to someone so I needed to get my game on!

ijdi, I love your Friday night! Especially since both Jay and I put on cat costumes at some point. We are going to a Wes Anderson-themed party on Halloween as disgruntled, badass cats who weren't invited to Fantastic Mr. Fox's party.
I made jerk delicata squash rings, quinoa, and choy and read my book awkwardly with a cat all over me while Jay painted miniatures. Party animals!

Writing for Nanowrimo, having some cider and watching a new tv show (Chicago fire) just because I totally need another show to watch.

Bourbon, humongous baked casserole, mashed butternut squash, noochy kale, and something mindless on TV, and an early bedtime: with the rotten cold I have, this sounds pretty much like heaven.

I'm still at work because it's merely Wild 'N Crazy Friday Afternoon here. Biker boy is going to a soccer game tonight so I will be hangin' out at home, doing not much of anything. I should get my grocery shopping out of the way for the weekend, but let's be real...

I'm parked in front of a space heater with my laptop and some tea, and will remain here at least until my battery dies. Wild 'N Crazy Friday Night: No Heat Edition!

Eating roasted potato and leek soup with kale. So rich and tasty.
Beyond that... perhaps stealing vodka from hubby and making screwdrivers. Snuggling with pooches. A pretty typical Friday for me

I'm stuffing my face with leftovers and energy drinks, and working on my degree project. I have a mid-semester review on Tuesday, so I don't think much sleep will happen between now and then.

I'm gonna watch kitchen nightmares and read articles for school. Whoo! Then I may retire to bed and read Harry Potter. Also, I already ate my desert and it's not even 8pm. Second deserts might be in order. That's about as crazy as it gets over here.

yeah I looked it up on the guide and it looks like I'll have to dig up the first part, but hubby is engrossed in some whatnot about the Ontario Lottery. And I don't want to go up to bed to watch it because then I wont get out of bed.

I'm going to work on a paper for grad school and if I get my draft done, then I will watch Project Runway All Stars and knit.

I did my groceries! I had to bribe myself with Amy's mac 'n' cheese, but I did it. Now I am drinking cider and watching Hoarders. I should probably clean the kitchen. Wild 'n' crazy, I tell ya.

I'm studying for a midterm, but the midterm is on a 30-page contract about which we have to know every detail, and it is DRY reading, let me tell you. I can't focus on it productively for more than 15 minutes at a time, so I am breaking up my study periods by drinking hot chocolate with all the fixings (by which I mean kalhua and dandies) and I am also watching 'When Harry Met Sally'. I plan to go to bed by 11pm at the latest. Good night so far!
