Stevia is forking nasty. I pretended for months that I loved it and used it in my coffee. Stevia + coffee = I'd rather lick shiitake. I shudder to think of it.
The only time it's okay is when I make a lazy lemonade of water, a little lemon juice, and half a packet of Stevia. Other than that, fork it. I'll have sugar.

I love cilantro! I like fresh stevia leaves from my garden in a green smoothie. I detest all other forms of stevia.

They have to change it chemically in order to patent it, and it also can't be labelled as a 'sweetener' in its natural state, so that's why fresh stevia doesn't taste of death like the commercially available stevia-based sweeteners.

Yeah, my boyfriend's sister had a stevia plant and she did some neat alcoholic muddled drinks with the leaves that didn't taste like suffering puppies. I'm a fan of the concept of stevia.

I like stevia in tea, but only when mixed with sugar. I can reduce the amount of sugar I normally put in tea by half by adding stevia. The Blue Sky cherry vanilla soda with stevia is pretty good, but I haven't liked any of the Zevia flavors. Stevia is vile as a sweetener in coffee and in chocolate.

In the US (at least in my experience), coriander refers to the seed and cilantro to the leaves, and I've never heard cilantro referred to as coriander, so I had no idea they were even from the same plant! I feel a little silly now. It's one of those words I see in recipe books and have to look up. Arugula is rocket. Cilantro is coriander (not coriander seeds) and garbanzo beans are chickpeas. That and not realising a cup was a fixed measurement until I was 25 (I'm still somewhat iffy about this due to the packedness quandry). I've only seen stevia here over the past year or so... I was actually quite surprised to find out I'd eaten some. It did explain why my expensive blueberry chocolate tasted like that fake chocolate you give dogs at Christmas, though.

Cilantro is the herb of the gods.
I've never tasted stevia and now I'm afraid to try. (Luckily, it doesn't seem as ubiquitous here as in the US.)

I like stevia in drinks, but I'd never use it in something solid. I just have to be careful not to add too much because then it does taste gross.

My nutritionist told me not to eat stuff with stevia because "it tastes gross." I wasn't really planning on trying. I like cilantro okay.

Celery leaves are a good sub for cilantro, for the haters out there. It seems like there aren't many cilantro haters here though.

I agree that Stevia is gross. It really bothers me that food manufacturers throw random sweeteners in foods that don't really need them. Even though Stevia is "natural," I'm not convinced it's something I should be eating in any quantity (even if it tasted good).

I'm pro barely-any stevia in my tea. And that's it. Like, 2 drops is on the edge of too much. But stevia pop? or in coffee? or lemonade? No way.
