I've worked at an animal shelter for ages, and if you have any questions I'd be glad to answer! I'm not going to tell you it's an easy job, because it's not. But the good part is seeing the animals, especially those who came from really bad situations, get adopted into loving homes. Sometimes we get letters or emails from people who have adopted animals years ago, giving us updates and sending cute pictures and that is pretty much the best thing ever.

Congrats :) That's where I'd like to be eventually.
I ran a doggie daycare for 5 years, and then worked in a vet clinic for 7 months. I haaaated working at the clinic.
