Have you roasted grapes? I saw an infographic on Facebook on a quick way to do it (toss grapes in olive oil, salt and pepper and bake for 7-9 mins at 450F). Pretty awesome.

I would think they would shrivel up completely. What does it taste like?

I guess that's why it's high-heat/quick bake (versus low-heat and long bake, like dehydrating). They are very sweet, which is why the salt and pepper really work. My non-vegan husband said "this is like eating pie" I had mine on a romaine salad with sunflower seeds ;)

Very neat. Would never have thought of that!

It sounds sort of disgusting, but I'd be willing to try it. Actually, it also sounds like it might be good. Could go either way.

I just had some for the first time last weekend! They were baked on top of vegan cream cheese with fresh herbs, and served with crackers. So good. Hadn't thought about putting them on salad!

There was a delicious recipe for roasted grapes and olives with Rosemary in vegetarian times a couple years ago. It has walnuts toasted with salt, more Rosemary, and olive oil on top whic makes it extra yummy.

How is the texture? I'm imagining it would be like eating eyeballs, but it's probably better.

I just now saw this post, but I love roasted grapes. Never tried them in a salad, though.
